When Miss Midnight was a kitten, I had to raise her away from the other two cats. They thought she was Theee Interloper & a Bad Kitty. So I made her a friend out of socks, with foam rubber ears and glowing eyes. Her friend's tail was the open end of the sock, wrapped around a long, thin bamboo stick. The stick went unnoticed by her, but as you can see, her friend was VERY much appreciated. Look closely and you can see somebody's tail is puffed up.
