The Jagdpanzer 38(t) was a German WWII tank destroyer developped on the chassis of the Panzer 38(t) from March to December 1943 by the Böhmisch-Mährische Maschinenfabrik (BMM). It was developped to be a rival for the Jagdtiger and Jagdpanther, actually, the Hetzer, its non-official name which gave out after the war, was based on a very reliable chassis which avoid all the engine failures of its rivals.

I don't know enought for tell you if it was or not but of what I know of German canons, that wouldn't be a surprise. I read that its 75mm canon was able to penetrate 97mm of armor at 1km, that seem to be most than correct when we know that the front armour of a Panzer VI "Tiger" was of 100mm.
Indeed it was very interesting and wasn't exclusively talking about the Allies. I also visited the British Graveyard and tried to photograph all the RAF and foreign soldiers graves, excepted a patch of graves I had visited entirely the cemetery. I try to indentify and to know the story of those guy, I already began with those of the Ranville British Cemetery and already found a Canadian ace and the story of a Short Stirling which crashed with about 25 men on D-Day after it was touched by the Flak.
