Took me about 2hrs to put this madness together, ugh.
Soooo, this was supposed to make my feel good about the progression in my art...when quite frankly it's done the opposite! I won't ramble on or anything, but you can get the general idea with what I typed on the bottom: I've got to the point where, if no one wants to buy it, I don't think most of my art is worth the time anymore. Which is unfortunate considering I used to be accused of being selfish due to the fact that I never drew anything but my own characters. Oh boy, it's been 5 crazy years and it seems I've gone down the road of giving into the general opinionated consensus that is devART (or the internet in general). Ho-hum~

I try to keep my commission and personal work on the same level. Same amount of effort into both. Some of my personal stuff gets more attention, but it's also because most of my commissions are just sketches or flat colors. So I don't get the chance to do more, even if I'd like to. :/
Yah, I know that feeling. I like to think I put the same amount of love into my personal and commission work, but I think my personal stuff has more emotion. Then again, my personal work mostly consists of personal emotional stuff, while commissions are largely...impersonal random poses and whatnot. Hard to put emotions into something when you don't know the person you're giving the picture to on any level but a professional one.
