As TC says, you've got some really good photos to preserve what you did with this. :) I get what you mean though, jack-o-lanterns are always going to be a temporary sort of art, something you can't keep around forever sadly. I struggle with that kinda ephemeral art too. What I usually try to do is get some good photos so I can remember it, and try that much harder to recognize that it won't be around forever so darnit I'm gonna be sure I enjoy it while it's here. :)
