This is the end of a a pressurized tank from a 1921 American LaFrance firetruck on display in the Kansas Firefighters Museum in Wichita, Kansas. I'm not entirely sure if it was filled with water or some other fire suppressing agent. There is a pair of valves, a pressure gauge, and a crank(!) on the other end of this tank.
