---Words cannot possibly describe the love I feel for Undertale. It’s been two weeks since I finished playing it for the true ending and the experience has still held with me – everything from the characters to the music to the story. It’s to the point where I can’t bring myself to view a No Mercy run, let alone play it through myself, for fear of ruining the beautiful yet bittersweet triumphs I’ve made toward everyone’s happiness.
Nevertheless, I highly recommend you either play this game for yourself or, barring that, watch along to someone else. Take it from a writer who’s harder to please: this is a tale worth caring about.
As for the picture itself, I feel it was only fitting, to join together the lead of my own story with another story I cherish. Consider it an homage of the highest respect.

My favorite ending is the one where Frisk doesn't become an ambassador or stay with Toriel.
They had their own family, their own life...the responsibilities of those roles, as nice and fun as they could be, or feel good...well they had so many years of life as a human. Their reason for falling might not be so nice but...it shows a "I want to live.' vibe without using the monsters as the crutch reason. Finding a reason, hope beyond them and in your journey itself. xD

I might indulge in some cutesy thoughts now and then, but my personal headcanon involving Frisk is plain, don't worry. xD Though it's also a bit more expansive than what you see on the game's surface level; I prefer to fill in the gaps for character motivation where possible, and that involves some critical thinking.

When I say motivation, I suppose I mean why they leave the Ruins in the first place, and how that ultimately justifies the Pacifist route and its outcome, including what choices (out of the two presented to you) you make in the credits.
Granted, though, you're right; Frisk's reasons for scaling Mt. Ebott in the first place play an important part in that. I imagine it starts in a dark place similar to Chara, though not for humanity as a whole but for Frisk's life circumstances. How it evolves from there -- and, thus, why Frisk would realistically want to leave the Ruins if you imagine they want to stay with Toriel in the end -- is all up to interpretation. I have my own justification for it, but I feel awkward talking about it, especially since it's mostly just discussing a plausible scenario that doesn't necessarily happen within the strict confines of the game. xD
