Thank you ^_^ I bought two rather large pieces at a Flea Market for $6 and $8 (which is this one), I saw them and had to have both! I'm not sure how valuable they are as they are man-made and used for industrial purposes as it is second to diamonds in hardness (though little pieces of this do break off if you're not careful!)

It is going with my Satyr/Fawn partial, and the danglies definitely tie in with the rest of it ^_^ and I will definitely have pictures of the entire thing put together in a few days.

Don't think I've seen one of those in a flea market, maybe I just missed it XD I guess hardness makes some minerals chip off like that, I'm sure it's natural though. I suppose the wrapping around it is dyed leather strips or so? Looks like some kind of smooth hide, sorry if that's told somewhere else and I haven't seen yet

Oh no, you're fine ^_^ I just happened to have a Flea Market in the area that has a dealer that searches for gems etc to sell.

The wrapping that is used on the stone part is faux suede "string" and the bottom half is dyed deer hide strips.

I also made a money holder bag out of faux suede, and today I need to make a last minute bag to hold the battery pack for the hooves I made. I'll be decked out in all sorts of things ^_^
