Silly pigeon is silly!
Doodled while delirious after FF'08, colored and sold at MFF '08.
Micron inks and prismacolor markers/pencils on drawing paper.
...Someday, I shall find me a vintage pair of glittery stars on a headband with springs, because my brothers and family dogs eated all mine. That day will be GLORIOUS.

It's one of the better scenes from Bolt. (I can't recommend the movie enough -- the extremely snarky performance by Susie Essman as the alley cat Mittens is priceless, as is Mark Walton's uberfanboy Rhino the Hamster).
One of the running gags in that movie is, during his "Incredible Journey", Bolt runs into various flocks of pigeons.
The first one, for example, was very, very heavily modeled after the Goodfeathers. (And introduced the term "Redonkulous!" into the netscape).
Arriving back in Hollywood, he meets another trio who are huge fans of his. One of the pigeons pitches a great new idea for Bolt's show, giving a long sales speech to the bemused pooch. But eventually, he gives the floor to the flock leader, who bobs his head and ejaculates a single word:
"Aliens."
Their big idea is to have Bolt kidnapped by aliens. And that joke makes an appearance at the epilogue, too. :>

It boldly goes where a dozen movies had gone before. What saves it is how likable and goofy the characters are.
You don't get much more of an oddball trio then Bolt, Mittens (dragged along by her scruff most of the way), and Rhino. The reaction of Mittens when Bolt and Rhino -- each delusional in their own way -- start feeding off one another, is beyond priceless.
