Picture of the hawk which i often see in my area, this time its in a tree in my back yard

Wow, that's very beautiful hawk. I like how it's peeking behind the pines. Lovely photo. ;) I guess that you took this rather far away.
There was once a hawk in our front yard (yup, our front yeard seems to be quite interesting for wild animals!) in a tree that's about 5 metres away from our house. It was trying to catch a magpie. It didn''t success. ^^

Thanks :) Yeah it was taken from about 15 meters away iirc, sadly i didn't have a longer lens to hand at the time or i would have gotten closer.
It seemed to have disapeared for a while but it appears to be back now, well judging by the pigeon feathers i found in the garden recently (well I recon its the same bird..)
