There comes a time when you need to reflect
A time to hit the reset button
To not take two steps forward
and one step back
Who am I?
What makes me unique?
What can I do
given situations beyond our control?
For me this time is now
The time to simplify
Put aside pride
while accepting what is and what will be
For so long I’ve tried
Endeavored to be more than my condition
Now I realize my condition
is what makes me who I am
Money isn’t everything
Titles are merely words
Societal beliefs
are what they will be
Outside views may limit me
This does not mean I should limit myself
The path to positive change
is through self-confidence
Friends see beyond my limitation
My wife and son know me as more than a stereotype
The truly blind ones are those
who fail to see past their own ignorance
I’m helpful
I contribute
I do not need a paycheck
nor title to validate my worth
Spike works hard for nothing in return
Isabelle works hard for nothing in return
I may drown in financial debt,
but, I am fulfilled knowing I can help, too
I’ll find my happiness where and how I can
I’ll continue to help others
I’m going to self-advocate
so others need not struggle as I have
There are others like me
Individuals who give without expectation
Individuals who’s true reward
is to inspire while leaving a positive legacy
You can take my possessions
You can put up barriers to entry
However, you will not stop me
and those like me from succeeding
Join me, Spike, and Isabelle
Those who help for nothing in return
Let’s take joy in what we can do
instead of what we can’t do

Thanks. I wanted to use the gif version were it's loop of Pinkie using her pacifier, but I couldn't use it because the file was too big and I'm not sure how to compress it. Do you know how to compress/shrink gifs while still keeping the loop?

I'm afraid not. However, there are a lot of folks here that have animated .GIF avatars so one of them may be able to provide you some guidance to make it happen. :)
As I've been here for seven years with not a whole lot of folks being my followers, I tend to just bypass the front page and go right into answering comments, looking at submissions I can see, and reading notes. So hearing anyone refer to one of my works being worthy of the front page is always exciting. :)

Oh! My adaptive technology has a tendency to make animated .GIF files appear like they may not be working unless I hover over them with my magnifier tool for a bit. I see it now.
There's another pal of mine, Fussy Puppy, who has been discussing with me the same concepts about Pinkie Pie as you have. It's interesting to notice how it is pretty obvious to those in the ABDL community, or even Furry Community itself, are picking up on Pinkie's likelihood of being an Adult Foal. :)

Does fussy puppy have journals written about it, or do they just discuss it to you through comments and journals?
It is pretty much obvious at this point. Because it used to be explained away as a cartoon gag and that big macintosh would just be as qualified to, but as big macintosh much more obviously got used as a commentary for crossdressing and masculinity and pinkie pie became more intentional with her adult foal habits, the more it seemed that she was an adult foal character.
