Hahahaha you're right! Sadly it's only a ref of her head, so I didn't wanna write "12 eyes" and make people think all 12 of them are on her face. (her shadow form ref is separate on dA, but now that you mention it I should probably post it here too XD)
as for your other question, Astrid IS technically based off of my personality. She was originally my sona, but nowadays, especially for this universe, she's more of a character/OC, and I don't really identify as her. My dragonsona is actually Nicole (the one on my icon) ^^
