Which is why I love them so.
If I didn't let them out they'd loose their sight and go all gross-white (actual color) and blind like those poor cave newts, and nobody wants that to happen. :( Except maybe those very same ideas in the darker recesses of my mind...
I'll keep letting them out anyways though. It's for their greater good, one assumes.

I tried to... But three one-eyed rabid marmots tore off Twinkie the Kid's foreskin and sauteed it in hollandaise sauce before inadvertantly force-feeding it to a tribe of sloppily dressed manic cannibalistic General Motors CEO's... Or so I heard, anyway... Vicariously speaking, of course.
