This is the second quill I've made and the very first woodcarving I've ever done that had a happy accident. All of my feathers are paper thin, and this is the first time I accidentally cut through one. I wanted to throw it out but really didn't want to waist all that time! So I tried something, and now it has a really cool loose strand of feather floating out there. I love it.

I don't know what I want to paint this as. I've been doing some cool things with murals on feathers that I haven't posted pictures of yet. I was thinking of doing something like that but large scale on this feather. So I'm going to make this an offer. If you want a theme painted on this feather, you can buy it now and I'll paint it like that.
