The combination here of hands and obligate quadrupedalism is interesting. It makes me think about sapient aliens with similar anatomy; Not sure how likely it is evolutionarily, but I'm sure it isn't impossible, and, from story perspective, it would be interesting to see how humans react to sapient beings with such animalistic looks...
