Another masterpiece from Ubisoft. Have you guys ever played these games done with the "ubiart framework" technology? they are unique. These games are very much like playing over a living comic book since everything looks so alive! Gotta say these developers know how to put love into making games.
So far i have played child of light (which is quite an awesome masterpiece. Play it!) and valiant hearts: Both unique artistically giving you those "feels" effect due their storytelling.
Valient hearts tells the story about emile, anna, Karl, Freddy and one unique canine companion called Walt; settled in the world war I, these characters find themselves in the predicament of a big political conflict called war and their objective is to survive all situations and outcomes, since they have one objective in mind: return home with their loved ones.
im not going to spoil this so far but all characters meet each other, bleding their stories so well event if the characters dont speak at all (they only yell and do weird noises) the ubiart engine does wonders to tell the story this way. Epic moments, surprises, informative about the world war I (veeeery!), sad situations (one is very devastating...) but overall, its amazing!
I got this game for free, but im really willing to pay for it at a fully price. Is that good!
This pic was done by the amazing phantominus, i just love his drawing style! capturing moments like a worn out canvas showing Blur`s only trasured moment of rest from the war, aside with his faithful companion,

Wonderful work. Valiant Hearts is one of the finest examples of using video games to explore the very real, human horrors of the Great War. I too paid full price for the game, and want to produce some more WWI artwork to commemorate the centennial this year and the next.
I am reminded, again, of the words of American General Omar Bundy, writing to his wife Addie after Belleau Wood in June 1918. "I'm sorry my letters are so full of war, but war is all there is to write about. I wish I could write of peace. The Marne Valley is so beautiful, and soon it will be the site of more bloodshed. Man is so destructive and wasteful."
Keep up the great work!

Very much appreciated for your nice comment ash, i agree this is one stunning videogame and how i wish developers could bring us more game with storytelling like this. It was sad but oh boy, its very rare to find games who makes the gamer or viewer bond so much with the characters like this.
Proprs to the artist since he was the one who shares his awesome skills for this idea. Glad you like man :)
