On Halloween of 2015, I won't be costuming or anything like that - I will take the 24 hour comics challenge. Within 24 hours, I will produce an entire 24 page comic. August Von Herling, vampire hunter and adventurer historian, will star in this story. Today, I started getting ready by shopping for supplies and I got some 8x10 inch Strathmore 300 series printmaking paper.

I had to test this paper to make sure it could take pen in the form of ink from a nib as well as a marker. I drew this drawing of Von Herling in his adventuring outfit with Staedtler fineliner marker. It came out well!
