Well, no, cause:
1-initially Zugum left the wounded minotaur on the river bank, only when he realized that there was no food in the hut he remembered the minotaur's bow, so he came back and then he realized that he can't use a bow, so he decided to take the minotaur with him
2-The orc really don't want to stay there with the minotaur, because he's scared of him. Everytime the minotaur is out there hunting he fears that the minotaur could kill him with his bow xD

I was thinking he had discovered the path out later on one of his veggie runs >w> Seems plausible, and it would've happened after he had time to get to know the bull. The orc also seems like he actually does care about the minotaur...cuz he spent hours searching for his favorite food instead of bringing him the quick finds.
