This image and the reply-comment you just made inspired me with thoughts of something of such themes. Hmm.

I like the simpleness of this image. The intence red and black is enough for this kind of scene and idea. When I saw it in thumbnail view, it reminded me of old nior japanese paintings ( I guess since the small leave branch is infront of teh red moon, I though of an old Jpanese painting I viewed not to long ago 0.o ) . I thought you did the trees with a sumi brush. Ever used a sumi brush before?

No, although I do get tempted. Watercolour is pretty darn hard, I've never been good at it.
