Okay, this is another Dipper carol.

I started thinking that I had never bothered to explain where Dipper's father was. In fact, I had not even thought about it.

But I needed to explain why Dipper and his uncle were so close and that his Uncle was almost a father figure to him.

I did not want to go the trite and overdone ideas of divorce or death. Then I thought, well, Dipper likes planes. Perhaps his father is in the military, and is presently stationed overseas.

But what carol to explain that?

Then this one came on the radio. Sorry that I'm using a midi version, but I could not find a karaoke version without backup vocals.
