No, it's just that people seem to think they can hold their art hostage behind a pay wall and assume that it's going to be okay.

Look great, but honestly this pay to see the art, that at one point folks posted up without asking for money and now want money for almost all non commission work is getting old. Honestly Looks amazing but I won't be paying money just to see it. It'll eventually make it's way publicly on another site.

Actually, peoples have posted up, but there was also peoples who had to buy to see it too. It's just continued on Patreon instead of a 'handmade' site. The peoples that try to sell their work like this, are trying to make a living. Patreon isn't just a pay to see ordeal, most give you chances at ych you don't see on FA or anything, if not art done by them cheaper; if not free. Because you'd already be effin' paying.

You may end up seeing it on another site, but more then likely by someone who took the work instead of the person who did it themselves. So you'd be no better then the one who stole the art. Or; this person may just give up with your guy's attitude with patreon and just say fuckit and post it themselves.

We need to define "Make art for living" or "Living for make art". I´m agree with some that use Patreon to get some to paid his bills, but they not forget the other people who follow him in FA or deviantart, and they become good founding. Here practically force you to get make a donation. But I don´t think the life was hard for the artist a years ago without patreon, especially if you do commissions. I know some who make donations comics, they become fully founded, put a few pages and forget them for many years, and thats very bad with the people who make the donations.

And now, like some said. Make FA like a marketplace to sell images via patreon is a violation to the site. Is this a place to upload stuff, not for put things for sale. I´m pretty shure her can be fully founded, and still forget the persons without her patreon

I don't see the forcing. It's just if you want to see the image set out more then what you see there, go look at her patreon. But peoples post enough to satisfy the 'needy' over FA for free viewers.

Usually people that use patreon, HAVE jobs and a life, just would help to get paid to put so much effort into their work to help them with bills. But it's also nice to sit back and be admired and given a bit for doing a goodjob on pictures such as this; don't you think?

Well, this thing will be like the music in the future. Only the rich on the top countrys can pay for that, and the rest, go to hell, and if you download for free is illegal . I´m not rich and l can barely pay my internet. Of course, I can´t pay this because I need to eat and I can´t make a Paypal. The dollar is expensive right now. Also, and maybe you don´t notice that. I really hate the artist who live in underdeveloped countries, México and all Sudamerica. Because they make the prices like the artist from USA or European and live more happy making more money than his real job and living more good than someone from his country. I guess will be more happy see the dollar increase the price in all the places . That´s something that I´m not totally agree. I don´t know how is the thing in Thailand,

How can people keep saying 'you get free art on patreon' when you h ave to pay just to enter a raffle in the first place? And more often than not it seems like 'popular commissioners' seem to get 'free' images more than the less known people

How about just work on an image pack, sell pre-orders of it, and don't send out said image pack until you make the total amount you need from it, instead of trying to make people pay per image. Your art is good and all, but I don't think I'd pay just to see one picture at a time.

Is the artist eventually planning on uploading this stuff to FA after it's been on Patreon for awhile? It seems like more and more artists are only uploading really nice art to Patreon, and thats going to start getting expensive. D:
