I originally planned to simply practice how to draw lynxes because Furball (who got the Kiribian) wanted his ACEO illustrated with a lynx.
But somehow I thought it would be a pity if this image would remain as some crappy sketch. So I decided to add a background to it.
I'm quite satisfied with the outcome but I'm very frustrated about the bad scan as well. The white fur is nearly not visible and the background looks somehow corny on the scan (on the original image it looks smooth). :<
Regarding the size of this picture (11,5x16cm, about 4,5"x6,3") it took me quite long to finish it.
Aaaand a big thank you to Tekumseh for letting me use his great photos as references!
(Media: mechanical pencil (0,5 mm, B) and a pure graphite pencil (9B) on some crappy, cheap print paper)

That's me whining. See, my family harbors this philosophy that we're naturally untalented at...everything. For a while, I was on a roll, and was, therefore, spoiled. Now, it seems to be back to normal where I can't do anything right, even what I've already done.
The depression is crippling ^_^
