Regression Aftermath

He wrote a little story snippet to go along with it, too :D
Anne Maria whimpered as Bobby carried her into his bedroom. He gently laid her on the bed and knelt down beside it.
“The chief’s approved my two weeks off,” he said, “That should give us plenty of time to figure this thing out.”
“But, Bobby…” said Anne Maria, “Do I have to wear a diaper?”
“I’m afraid so,” said Bobby, “Your body’s no longer what it used to be. Well… in a way it is; I mean… It’s the way it was the first time you were a pup.” Anne Maria started to sniff, because she knew Bobby was right; her muscles were limp and every part of her felt so… small. Tears began to form in her eyes.
“But…” she said, “At least I’m still me, right…?”
“Fortunately, yes,” said Bobby, “Even after being regressed in a matter of seconds, you managed to hold on to your intelligence, and that, my dear, is an accomplishment all on its own.” At this, Anne Maria managed to crack a small smile. “If I could return you to your previous state,” said Bobby, “I would.” Then he sighed and said, “I may know a lot about the supernatural, but a mortal like me could never preform that kind of magic.”
“It’s okay…” said Anne Maria as she placed her tiny hand on top of his own, “I thought I’d be encased in plastic every day; modeling infant clothes for the rest of forever. You saved me from that…” Bobby smiled down at the precious little girl.
“Well,” he said, “Do you think you can keep up an act as an infant with people around? If the government got a hold of an infant with the intelligence of a young adult…”
“Count on it!” said Anne Maria, “I look like an infant and feel like an infant; how hard can it be to act like one?”
