Some of my long-time watchers may remember that I maintain a reef aquarium. It's my pride and joy, basically. About a month ago, I transported the whole thing (broken down into buckets) from Massachusetts to Florida in a 3 day car trip. Everything transported really well! I was expecting a nightmare. Besides moving down the country, I also had plans to upgrade it from a 20 gallon tank to a 40 breeder tank (that's what they're called, though they actually have more like a 45 gallon capacity). So I've been working on that lately, getting it all set up in the new tank. Everything looks beautiful, and if anyone else ever thinks about setting up a reef tank, I recommend 40 breeder tanks :) Here are a few recent shots of what's in the tank! Top left: Blastomussa merleti. Bottom left: Favia. Top right: my b&w ocellaris clown that's been with me for over 2 years! Middle right: Duncan corals with a snail to the right. Bottom right: frogspawn coral
(I hope this picture isn't enormous, I'm uploading on mobile. Monday is the scheduled date for my place to finally get wifi set up!)
