I decided to do a picture that focuses more on setting than characters. This is the home of my Renaissance musicians Ballad Quill (gryphon) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13992302/ - and Sondrew Hayne (human) - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15304407/. Their apartment is on the top floor. (You can see Ballad's tail showing in the right window). With its high ceiling, it's one of the only apartments in the city that Ballad can fit into. (He enters and exits through a large window in the back, which faces out to sea).
The cafe on the ground floor is a popular hangout for residents of Paromdon-town's Zoho Bridge arts district. The neighborhood sits on a large stone bridge that spans the entrance of Paromdon Bay.
Sondrew can be seen sitting inside the cafe, at the rear table near the painting, along with his friends Sequiel the quest guide, and Arix the werewolf (in human form, with her back to the viewer).

I agree. It's a neat setting to do stories, movies and stuff to. I have a lioness barmaid wench that lives in that sort of area and I hope to devlope more about her, her world and other possible characters.
My favorite historical settings are Prehistoric, the Antiquity era, the era between the Middle Ages, Renassiance, the 17th-18th century era, the Edwardian/victorian era (late 19th century-early 20th century) as well as the 1970s, the era of my childhood. They're good for writing fine fictional stories about and to explore how culture, clothing, manners and codes of politeness, architure, and level of survival and technology.
