It's more time consuming than anything. The most irritating part is swapping colors because each one has to be started and tied off. I mostly just have to pay attention to making color blocks the right dimensions (I have gridded paper where I draw the image and then use that as a template) and to the direction the uppermost stitches make because if they go back and forth it looks off. The nice part about needlework, though, is that it is good for working on while watching a movie and lounging on the couch. :D
