When I found out about the PC game Spore, I was inspired by the idea of a game where I could escape anthropomorphic biology altogether. This is the best example of a sort of "concept art" I was producing in anticipation of the game. This is a Malatonian, a sentient alien species about the size of a rhino. Ironically, I have yet to get around to trying to make this guy in the game. (Without going into the drama, this is the first piece of decent artwork I was able to produce after the ordeal that was 2007.) (Oct. 2007)
