Apart from a few breeds, all zexre are good climbers. Most zexre even have thumbs to help them climb and manipulate objects with, which comes in handy when the marmore trees bear fruit and everyone wants their share. One can often see whole packs of zexre hang out on the branches of a marmore tree, leisurely making their way through the tree’s crop.

This particular wabi lady has made her way to the top of a tree where all the sweetest fruit are located.

Thanks to the wide variety of animals enjoying the tree’s produce, marmore trees have become the single most successful tree species on Noi, and can be found from all corners of the planet. Out of the hundreds of varieties of the tree, the most popular by far is the one pictured here -an old commercial variety that was originally developed specifically for the production of Hai’s most popular hard soda, Fecca. Its fruit are large(around 10-15cm(4′’-6′’) long) and sweet, with a relatively thin leathery skin and a texture similar to that of a kiwi. On average, these trees grow to be 15m(50ft) tall.
