This seems to be some type of W. Butcher & sons camera from maybe around 1890-1900. as far as my falling plate camera collection goes this one is the most complex. it has 12 plates but for some reason the counter goes to 24. the front opens on a hinge to expose the shutter, and lens. it has several lenses for focusing at set distances controlled by a knob in the middle (1 or 2 of them seem to be missing). The camera Also has a yellow filter controlled by a small lever mounted around the lens knob. it has an iris type stop controll (3 or so of the leaves are missing) it has a time, bulb, and instant shutter setting. and it has a speed controll with 9 diffrent shutter speeds. I would say the camera is semi usuble due to the missing parts and some fouled controlls. (some aspects of that I may repair in the future)

I have several others now similer to that one and actually I now have a better specimen of that one as well. The one there has some big issues with it's shutter, and apperture settings. But Im going to try and use that one anyway as well at the other. I currently dont have a derkroom set up after I moved several years ago
