This is what I beleve to be some type of Ilex camera works camera, it is from the UK and made around 1890-1900 abouts. This one is in usable condition and has all three detachable lenses inside the front cover( 3' ,5', & 9'). it has the capacity for 12 glass plates, has 3 shutter speeds, a time and Instant mode, and 5 stops. this is a falling plate type camera. this specific one has covers on the 2 veiw finders, a sliding lens cap and what appears to be some kind of safety lock on the shutter lever.
