A bit of a destress drawing I finished up on Friday of/for DeerPuff on Twitter. (
ohohflamethrower)
I quite liked their deer character and wanted to draw them, so I sketched them up during one of my classes.
The technique I used to make this drawing is currently one of my favorites, and I really enjoy making drawings in this way.
Its a really low stress procedure and it uses time very efficiently.
Other versions of this drawing can be found on my art blog: http://rainbowfoxyart.tumblr.com/po.....o-the-knack-of

That's because its a colored traditional drawing :3c
It retains the texture of the paper and the pencil that I used.
I usually edit the heck out of the photo/scan of the drawing to make it black and white
versus a dark grey drawing on a light grey background. I also white out the surrounding paper
on the background so its easier on the eyes and the coloring.

Honestly its much easier for me!
I sketch pretty quickly traditionally, and I draw in class a lot.
So it saves me time to do the lineart while at school, and then
color it and shade it at home. Editing the photo takes about a minute or two.
Coloring is just like any regular coloring, but easier in my opinion since its more
flexible and easier to stay in the lines!
