Your own worst critic, as usual. I'd say they look very natural. The prey bird is very well done and has that 'tharn' look. (I'm gonna assume you've read Watership Down and know the term, if not google is your friend again) All the feathers look right, as do the markings. If I were to find one thing to say you could do better on this one it would be the hawks head and neck perhaps. Somehow it doesn't look as predatory as I would expect. Perhaps it's the positioning to some extent, but the shape of the head and beak, and the eye don't quite seem right to me. I googled pix of them. This one struck me as a good example.

You definitely got all of that right in this one though. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17957380/ Notice how the eye has that crazy killer look which I think you didn't quite capture here.

I hope you take all this as constructive criticism, because that's definitely how I mean it.
