I made an excursion to the Stafford Air & Space Museum in Wetherford, Oklahoma today. One of the most amazing pieces they have on display is this F1 engine. Five of these powered the first stage of the Saturn V moon rocket, each delivering 1.5 million pounds of thrust. I may be wrong, but I believe that these are still the most powerful single rocket engines ever built.

Haubitze has uploaded a photo taken from a similar angle of an F1 on display at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, DC. You can see that one here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17989633/
