I have a deep set jealousy towards anyone who can use Painter as well as you. I've tried a number of times to get to grips with the program but the sheer number on menus often has me retreating very quickly to the saftey of Photoshop XD
Mind if i bug ya on your technique?
I was just wondering mainly, do you always start with just a random sillohette and then start working in the details? or do you sketch it out first to get a mental picture of how the character/image will take form?
Which brushes do you tend to use most. I've experimented with a couple but i kind seem to find one to use as an anchor to ease myself into the program.
Any help here would be reeeeeeeeeaaalllly appreciated as i'm currently trawling through your gallery trying to dissect your technique and trying to apply it in photoshop XD

i almost completely rely only on the Basic Round tool in the Tinting section (i doubt most people would even bother to look in that part)
