Yes, the war is criminally underrated, and is the precurser to so many of the issues in the middle east today. That war was absolutely horrible, child soldiers, gas, mass shelling, and achieved little for both sides. Something about it though has always interested me, maybe its because I get to see american and russian equipment pit up against each other used by people who have NO idea what they are doing. xD
I've always loved pictures that have lots of background events to them, than tell several stories at once in their own way. The way the main soldier correlates with the ground crews on the artilleryin the back, whilst all being somewhat supported by the airplanes and hueys makes it a really cool scene. I'm interested in how the scene portrays the Iraqi side of this conflict, as the man who led this war was not only supported by the US at the time, but executed by the US only 9 years ago. Interesting how politics really play out in unexpected ways.
Thanks! I appreciate the compliment, and while this didnt come out exactly as I expected, it still came out pretty cool. Definitely not accurate to what the war looked like by any stretch of the imagination, but still a cool piece.

Yeah, just like the "Bush caused 9/11" and "Obama's a Muslim". And my favorites "The Government's gonna take us over, so we gotta keep our guns" (try stopping an Abrams with your AR-15) and "Obama's workin' for the government, I don't care what they say, he is!".

Totally, but dont get me wrong I do plan on being a proud gun owner, but the idea that you could fight back against the government is fucking delusional.
