So this is the outcome of one of the pictures i had commissioned back in the day for myself and a friend. I've held onto it for a while, and with getting somethings in order I figure I'll post it.
Unfortunately this wasn't the commission that I was wanting from Trancy Mick back in the day. But it was a little hard to communicate with an artist whom didn't seem to check their notes, nor had a full grasp of the english language. I will admit it wasn't entirely her fault either.
Not much to really say about this piece other then that.
The purple sergal is

The jackal is me when I used to have muscles.

I had this EXACT same issue with one of my commissions that I bought. She spoke Russian so hardly knew any English, didn't want to communicate with me on details of my character (so she winged it instead of asking) and when I told her some of the details everyone missed she said "Okay. That's enough." My result was a very emotionless portrait that had details that my character didn't have. So I assumed she was doing it only for the money rather than for the pleasure for both her and her client. And being as my first commission, I may not ever commission anyone again for a very long time. I felt like it was $70 down the drain.
