Did you outsource this engraving? My roomie from last year is inheriting the family business which is an engraving workshop and they do flasks. She's also a fur so I could probably get her to do something like this for me. I make my own beer (Hopping Fox Brewery, located in my closet and kitchen) but I don't think ale is the kind of thing you drink out of a flask. I wonder what larger containers for beer might be engrave-able...

I didn't outsource this, I did it myself. Take a look around my gallery - beer containers are plenty engravable.

What sort of engraving does your friends shop do?

They do everything from plaques to trophies, lighters, silver spoons, police badges, pens, mugs, glass, and so forth. I don't know enough about it to be able to say what kind if techniques exactly but I know there are a lot of different machines in the back room. I'll see if I can bug her for a beer glass or something.
