Headshot commission by supertalented
CultmasterSleet ^^
Sleet was recently doing some dinosaur headshot commissions, and so I picked up two since they were fairly inexpensive. I went with Great Jaggi; under the idea that he's frustrated at his not being taken very seriously despite his efforts to be an effective monster, and my Dino D-Day fanchar Claw the Velociraptor; who is a bit more furious than usual.
It's not exactly difficult to anger Claw, but she's supremely ticked off at someone here! Tread lightly indeed. Someone probably insulted her feathers, that's the quickest way to get her like this ^^;
All of the hugs for Greatest Jaggi though <3

Sleet's very good with dinos~
Hehe, I sometimes hear Great Jaggi referred to as royalty... Specifically as the "Royal Pushover" ^^;
He's got a nice regal look to his face, but sadly lacks the strength to really back that up D:
Oh yes, Claw and her temper xD

I love his dino designs too and I fave them from time to time.
Due to his fans on the sides of his head the Great Jaggi reminds me of the Dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park. That's my connection I have to Great Jaggi, because I have never played Monster Hunter and I'm not much of a gamer, but when I play games it's usually a role play game, where you have to develop the skills of your character.
Hehe, it's well depicted XD

Great Baggi has the venom-spitting ability, but no frills, Jaggi has the frills but no special talents - he's pretty 'normal' ^^
Mm yeah, MH is more of an action game where you just fight stuff. There's not really much character development to be had, since your skills are tied to the armor you're wearing at the moment, and your Stats like HP are static - the only thing that gets stronger is your equipment. Undearneath that you're just human, whether you're fighting hapless Jaggi or legendary 1,400 ft+ long snakes.
Still, I think it's the creature designs that are what's truly special about the series. I find the games fun, but not as much as most of my friends. So for me, it's the Creatures > Games ^^
Next year a new game is coming out, that's more RPG-like (Similar in nature to say SquareEnix's "DragonQuest"), and I'm definitely looking forward to that one since the gameplay seems a lot more up my alley than the mainstream MH games. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2RiBpiZM40

She's always a cranky raptor, so it's a wonder how she gets along so well with Dilo, when he's like.... So cheerful and friendly (And a bit of a goof at times. For whatever reason, I imagine Charlie as having a very very similar personality in my fiction x3)
