Recently Elasta Vixen had to call on Drew to give her some much needed back up on her latest raid against one of the villains she deals with on a regular basis.

After the baddies were beaten and the villain vanquished, Elasta asked Drew to clean up the mess that their battle had made. Usually, Drew helped Elasta very rarely as “a citizen shouldn’t be involved with creeps like these!”

Drew always wanted to help out his heroic friends, but with out super powers mystical abilities or being bitten by a radioactive bug, his chances were very slim.

While cleaning up the mess of what used to be a wall, he saw a light blue glow. Climbing behind it, he discovered a large glass cylinder covered with dust from the recent battle. After wiping away the dust and dirt, he saw a blue suit with a plaque over the glass door reading “Dynamo Suit.”

He opened up the door, deciding to taking a close look. Attached to a metal ring around the wrist of the suit was a piece of paper with instructions and information about it works. Just then the police had finally arrived. Panicking, he stuffed the suit into his pouch, gave the police a cheery yet nervous wave and slipped way.

When he got home, he decided to take a closer look at the thing that he had brought back home with him. After reading the piece of paper and speaking to a friend what the word “dynamo” means, he fully realised what he had found and how he could use it.

Just then, a scream was heard from outside. A woman was being mugged by some ring-tailed bandit. What a perfect chance to test his new toy. He quickly slipped on the suit trying to remember the instructions and lept out of the window and dashed round the corner.

The criminal, who was dashing around the opposite side, ran straight into the big blue suited gut, was sent flying and landed in a heap across from him.

“Heh, guess I didn’t need the instructions after all” Drew chuckled embarrassedly

The woman who had been attacked thanked the masked stranger and begged to know who had saved her.

“Uuummm….uuuuhhhhh…” he really wished he had more time to think of a name. Names where never really his strong point.

“uhhhh… n-no need to fear for… uuuhhhh… D-Dyna-Roo is here!” he then bounded away, carting off the crook hoping he hadn’t made too big a fool of himself.

“oh my! What a hero!” exclaimed the woman “But gee, super heroes really are letting themselves go these days…”


The Dynamo Suit

Summary

The Dynamo Suit is a full body suit made from a synthetic material that turns its wearer essentially into a living battery. The suit is powered from incoming kinetic energy (e.g. being punched.) Any damage sustained to the user is instead absorbed into the suit, giving the wearer all of the energy that they receive from attacks against them while leaving them relatively unharmed.

As the suit can absorb the damage, so can the wearer. The wearer is resistant and receives no pain from almost all blunt attacks, but the suit is vulnerable to anything sharp or pointed. As the suit absorbs energy, the wearer gains and aborbs that energy through the suit. They can use this energy to make themselves more powerful, however, the suit can only store so much energy. This is called “The Energy Threshold”.

If “The Energy Threshold” exceeds its limits, it has a drastic effect on the user. Once the suit is at 100% capacity, any excess energy is channelled and stored directly into the wearer. If they take in too much past “The Energy Threshold”, it will cause the wearer to bloat out until they are an immobile mass. This can be avoided as long as the energy within the suit is consumed.

When “The Energy Threshold” is at 50%, the user’s strength doubles. At 100%, the user’s strength is five times stronger than normal.

The suit also comes equipped with strong padded material attached to the soles of the feet on the suit. With these special soles, the user can survive falls from any height and the kinetic energy from the fall is absorbed into the suit, causing no harm to the user.
