This is a little follow-up I wrote to Spike's Real Worth. It further explores Spike's emotions as solitude within The Castle of Friendship makes him wonder what Twilight really thinks of him.

We really haven't seen anything to show one way, or another, of how Twilight truly sees Spike. Is he a son? Little Brother? Pet? Servant? Perhaps a combination of these? We may never know.
The writers for Friendship is Magic say Spike has gotten less screen time due to "Not knowing what to do with him". How about give us an episode that shows how Twilight feels about him? How they built their bond and other things.

Thanks, Ari. I wrote this when I was very tired and waiting for my wife to finish some work for her job before she was ready for bed. :)
What honestly amazes me is how these stories are getting the amount of positive attention they are getting on FiM Fiction. I didn't expect them to amount to anything. *Shrugs* They are both just emotional releases I used over taking pills for anxiety, or sitting around lazily browsing the internet.

As is yours. Yours require far greater concentration on my part since they aren't just "Pure Emotion" like these.
Fall's world is immersive. I feel a 'Connection' with her when I write about her, Bucky, Pint, and friends. It's like I'm there when I'm writing the stories. Like an unseen spectator only allowed access to properly record events as they unfold.
Spike has served well in helping me work through my emotions. It helps having a positive way to work through feelings without directly stating what I'm saying. :)

You did a nice job writing this one too! And it's cool lots of folks liked the story on FIM, even if everyone has different views or guesses about their relationship, you were exploring this one in particular. (: Kinda near the end it sounded a lot like what Tina might have felt - so I feel like maybe that's why you've been thinking about this pair more, and relating them both together.
I think you may be onto something, Ham-Ham. Tina has been on my mind quite a lot as of late. I want her to be happy and, along with knowing her past, I see myself a lot as Spike being the one at home all day while she's off at work.
You always do a great job in "Reading Between the Lines". Thank you for the thoughtful insight along with your time in reading the story.
