Finally, the last of the main protagonists of 'Space Pirate Captain MacTaggart'.

Alasdair Geddes is the Assistant Chief Engineer onboard the Stellar Typhoon, the only main male protagonist, and also the audience surrogate. It's through his eyes that we're introduced to the universe the characters inhabit.

Alasdair is, as he would put it, a "Gypsy who's had his wings clipped". Coming from a large clan of space travelers, Alasdair used to wander the Galaxy with his family, never once settling down anywhere. However, after the death of his mother Morag at the hands of the Stellar Federation, Alasdair ended up becoming 'grounded' on the planet of Procyon VI. He was forced into a dead-end job as a technician at his uncle Stanley's shipping company.

However, the will to travel again became strong in Alasdair's heart, and when he was unexpectedly captured by a gang of space pirates, he begged them to take him away from his dreary existence-a request duly accepted by the Captain, one "Jaws" MacTaggart. Ever since, Alasdair has served Jaws loyally, and has even taken a shine to his immediate superior, Kyoko Mori...
