And yet another protagonist for my series.

"Blackmask" (her birth name is unknown) is the Weapons Expert for Captain "Jaws" MacTaggart. Of the five major protagonists, she is the only one to have been born on Earth, formerly being a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to meeting Jaws, Blackmask was a member of various street gangs, performing many of the related acts, and generally being the rebellious kind. She was also involved in quite a bit of gang warfare, something which would help her later on in her career.

Eventually, the rigors of a planet-bound life got to Blackmask, and she illegally stowed away on a luxury cruiser. This was of course attacked by pirates, and their Captain soon discovered Blackmask hiding in the cargo hold. Seeing the chance to escape the hardships of her old life, Blackmask begged to be taken onboard the pirate ship; a request which the Captain-one Jaws MacTaggart-was only too happy to oblige to.

Since then, Blackmask has used the experience gained from her years in street gangs to help Jaws in her fight against the Stellar Federation.
