I had a really nasty flare-up start in July, which a few of my regular medications haven't been working as well on as they should. Then this week I had some chemo complications. This is the first time I've had complications from the chemotherapy itself so that's been a bit scary, but it's nothing dire.
Thanks! My doc's currently trying to get me on a new treatment that's specific for lupus, which would be once a month side effects vs. the current weekly chemo I'm on.. I'd have to be on both for awhile but I've heard good things about it, that it usually ends up allowing some patients to drop their other treatments. So fingers crossed!

These past few months have been horrible for everyone medically it seems. I myself have been in and out of the hospital for the past month and even needed a major surgery because of the issues. I actually just came home a few hours ago from a 4 day long stay! Ugh. ;-; I really hope things get better for you by the end of the year sweety! Hospitals really suck. :(
