The basic idea of what John looks like as a shark beast. I think his head is a little small here but overall the proportions are alright. His dorsal and tail fins can fold down alongside his body to keep safe on land. (They sometimes flare out when he's surprised or agitated, though!) His mane extrends from the crown on his head down to the base of his tail, and is composed of a mixture of bristly hairs and soft but somewhat springy "down" (????? we just don't know)
Some things specific to John (not all pictured here):
-Short, patchy mane
-scarred, often scabby dorsal fin
-Shorter torso/back
-discoloration on back extending from around the shoulder blades to the top of the hips/legs
-he's fat
