Then switch to fisticuffs...
This fantastic artwork was made by the talented, professional, and friendly
Seyumei who did an absolutely awesome job rendering a scene from my universe here.
The scene depicted here kinda demonstrates what happens when nomads and bandits are caught on the surface when the scourge are close enough and numerous enough to start perceiving medium disturbances such as the vibrations caused by gunfire or the running engine of a vehicle; though not yet close enough to perceive the relatively minor disturbances of movement and fighting.
Basically firing a gun with that many scourge around would quickly become a death sentence, though sticking around much more than a few short minutes at best would also mean greater numbers of scourge, and likely their perception would increase to the point of being able perceive the minor vibrations in footsteps or simple passive body-heat.
This is also the first time you get to see the scourge visually, they are meant to be kinda a swarm intelligence, something that is non threatening in small numbers but rapidly become more perceptive and dangerous in larger numbers. The scourge also tend to be nearly innumerable and their attacks are often relentless and can only be temporarily delayed, never stopped.
Anyway, thanks again to
Seyumei who did a fantastic job on this and helped me design this first iteration of the scourge; I also think he did a fantastic job getting the "look" of Brack and the Soldien bandit down as well.
As always let me know what you all like, what you don't, and what can be used to improve future submissions.
Thanks everyone! I hope you all like it!

Thanks! Yeah Draggincat is a really good commission artist; I love his visual style and how well he does colors and shading.
I'm glad you noticed the eye glow, I'm kinda trying to establish that the dragons eye's will glow when their in an intense situation or their emotions run high; it will be a fun little effect to use I think.

Well I've seen the first show (the last airbender) and the martial arts were top notch in that; but I've only seen bits and pieces of the new show so I didn't want to say something and not know what I was talking about.
Yeah, it's all part of a long process; though I fully estimate my project will take years before it's really seen by a lot of people as well. Though it would be a dream come true if I could ever get it in front of a large audience like that. (One can dream).
Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Thanks! This one is probably the best piece I've gotten from this artist so far; the amount of detail and the look of the color is just amazing.
With any luck I may be able to get another commission from Draggincat sometime in the future, though he's barely ever open for commissions and usually there are other people waiting too.
Regardless, glad you liked this one!

Right, well in that case I'd go with really new artists who still need a lot of feedback and are trying to get setup; they are more likely to do requests and would probably appreciate the attention.
Otherwise people got to pay bills, you know how it is.
Regardless, much obliged!
