Actually, that's exactly what it was about. It was a response to the idea of creating a virus designed to kill (human) eggs before they could have the chance of becoming a zygote, ergo, making stem cell research "ethical". (I don't have a problem with stem cell research, it's the virus that scares me)
Also, the idea of messing with genetics to create "designer babies". They're trying to figure out the parts of DNA that control birth defects, but it was mentioned that one day we could choose what color our baby's hair or eyes will be, etc.

It was for a performance called "Mercury Vindicated by the Alchemists at Court". =^_^=

Yeah, it was a private performance done by my Masks and Mantles class here at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (not the "Art Institutes" that are all over the country). We hired some professional theater actors to play the main characters and the class played the parts of the "alchemists monsters", which were supposed to represent different sciences gone wrong. It was a great project!
