I was commissioned by a friend to draw cartoon name tags of her horses, and this is the one I like the most; he wanted specific background colors based off of the bridles she uses, which are not in this version of the image. In order to get to know his personality and get some good reference images, she invited be out to the stable and I got to ride him! It was so fun since the last time I'd been on a horse I was in elementary school. He's a very sweet and silly personality and he really does have those striking blue eyes.

She kind of wanted the art to resemble My Little Pony, but not enough that her boyfriend would notice, since he isn't into the show.
