Ive been kicking myself over a couple things lately.
Firstly I feel all my stuff looks the same. Wait no, let me rephrase. I feel my stuff while it make jump around in styles and content, I feel its all done exactly the same way. Pencil->Pen->Marker rinse repeat. So this I sketched out and went right into colouring and layering and trying to use colours I don't usually use. After colouring I went in and gave most parts a white outline 'cause I've been thinking those look neat lately.
Second I draw razerz too much. I think mainly because I use it to express things, ideas, frustrations etc, and I know if i draw razerz looking stupid the only person that might be offended that their character looks dumb is me. I have this thing where I feel I have to be somewhat of a perfectionist sometimes when drawing another's character, and sometimes that keeps me very in the box as far as experimenting goes.
Blather aside, heres something extra for
drakenbyte because she is FREAKIN MIND BLOWING and made me this wonderful monstrosity for a trade. I hope you[and Laiho, and Alscye] don't mind me waiting with mailing, I just wanted to get some more stuff together to send off. ;) I'm aiming for early january at the latest. The saddest thing about this is... the scan looks better than the original. ;____; It scanned darker, and thus a lot of the imperfections/marks in the grey are masked. Also I was playing with this sparkly stuff which looks kinda crazy IRL. XD;

I know how you feel though. I wish I could vary my routine some, but even in my routine, my stuff is rather shoddy XD
I love the colors for this though, and the lineless look.
Its really unique and cute. The background comes together to make the character itself pop with it's darkness compared to the bright sky and ground.

<3 I know how you feel, I feel stuck in a rut with my art all the time. I think thats a main reason I like your art so much (other than the fact it's absolutely amazing) is because you use Razerz to express how your feeling, the way I do with Ookiness. So I don't feel so lonely, or that my gallery's a shrine to vanity.
But I love this picture aside from the rambly ramble, this pictures gorgeous. The white line and candy colored colors are so awesome.

Its so cool how you used lighter colors to outline, especially on the hair.. the blue lines with green on the inside just looks so awesome!! Draken looks so cute!
Also, I really love your work, its very powerful because its made from your candid emotions. I understand how you feel about being stuck in the same process though.. I want to make more expressive art not just cutecutejunk

I'd love to see you do more experimental/expressive stuff, I bet you could make some pretty mind blowing stuff as you are hella talented woman. I feel like I fall back on "cutejunk" a lot too, or well at least more than I would like to. I need to make you something fun ;o;
