-headtilt- i see it in all the pics, what happened to his ear?

It was an original character concept that when he was very, very tiny, he got caught in a thorn bush and panicked and bolted, and shredded his ear. It had to be trimmed off. I've since given up on the idea, because partly it looks too gruesome, and mostly, because about 75% of the time, the artists had trouble keeping "his left" and "viewer's left" separated. I've had to manually edit, flip, and in at least four cases, have the picture re-drawn because of that. With it being such a widespread issue I gave up - because the artists are excellent and it is such a minor point to argue.

ah gotcha. its always fun to see a unique character detail like that, its a shame it had to go.

It just looked too sad is all, ruined the cuteness in some instances. I wanted pitiable, not run in horror.

well, if it counts for anything,it got an awwww moment out of me. ^.^;

*giggles* Aww, thank you! It never bothered or hurt him later in babyhood, no worries, and other than people going "My god, what happened to your EAR?" he doesn't even think about it.

^.^; heck, ya got bonus points from me for having the bear, its one of my little treasures too, so it was an instant like.

darn skippy. Me and my pekingese shared mine right up until the day she passed. I still sleep with it to this day.
