about 2 &1/2 to 3 feet roughly his tail is never straight so cant measure exactly !! ^v^

thats only been of late at first he just came over and sat near me cuase he wanted to i havent feed him for like the first month ive seen him !! ^v^

Neat lizard! I'd love to see one like that in my yard. See what happens when one of the roadrunners here sees it. They hunt lizards all the time and eat them, but the lizards here are only about 3 inches long. Maybe that lizard would hunt the roadrunner.

I dunno. Roadrunners are pretty fast. So are lizards though. I dunno what the outcome would be but I think it would be a fun race to watch.

Just a heads up hun, all species of monitor lizards are at least slightly venomous. I understand that it's friendly and all, but still be careful.

Aw, he (she?) is really pretty. You lucky thing you! About all I get around here is the odd corn snake or something a tiny little skink or something. Though do be kinda careful. I think it can give you a pretty nasty bite if it decides it wants to.
