One vast land torn by war,
five were pulled from their homes.
Six kingdoms vie for territory,
twelve months to make an empire like Rome.
Of the five that have failed,
they are forever bound to this land.
Each were brought here against their will,
and they were all undone by those who fought against their hand.
The First was an aggressive swordsman,
wearing armor of the highest grade.
Charged headlong into each and every battle,
slicing those that opposed him down with a twin-handed blade.
His eagerness for the battles ahead,
proved to be his undoing for exemplar.
Execution he had managed to escape from,
only to be branded the outcast name of 'Bloodied Templar'.
The Second was a skilled huntress,
favoring the bow over the sword.
For when her targets were found,
an arrow would end their word.
Her preference for attacks from afar,
were her downfall, to those who closed in.
Hauled off to rot in a dungeon and to be beheaded,
fled into the wilds with the name 'Arrow's Sin'.
The Third was an odd one, when in this land
staying from the front lines in favor of advancements.
His mind was sharp, his creations especially so,
wielding weapons that deliver his foes lethal punishment.
His mind may have been brilliant,
but his combat prowess not equivalent to his creations.
For when the doors of his personal quarters were bashed in,
he escaped from his captors, now known as 'Deadly Invention'.
The Fourth was of cunning mind,
riding on steeds that made plains thunder.
His lance punctured the hearts of bandits and foe,
while his eye for values made for voluminous plunder.
His band small each time he rode out,
lead to his capture, by Nord and axe.
Valiantly he fought, but downed by day's end,
outwitted his captors, bearing the name 'Cunning Jacks'.
The Fifth was the toughest by far,
Nordic vigor with strength to match.
For when not splitting heads with iron mallet,
was at the tavern downing an entire batch.
Her jovial demeanor would be a welcome sight,
but it served little to those she had lost to.
Even when death loomed, she was still cheerful,
when her escape came, her name would be known as 'Evil's Brew'.
They all tried to build their own kingdom or barony,
daring to test the might of the other six before them.
Yet when a year had gone by since they founded their kingdom, the land still fractured,
all others would rally up for a crusade to condemn.
One by one, any city they held were taken back,
returned to their former owners and lords.
Despite being able to deal significant damage to it,
the five weren't able to bring a halt to their swords.
So now, immortal and undying, they remain,
their statuses a constant reminder of what they failed.
Unable to return home, unable to see their true families,
what goes on in their home world to them is not detailed.

A little something I've done a good while back and thought I've submitted here. Twas made when I was playing a lot of Mount & Blade: Warband mods, such as Brytenwalda, Floris/Silverstag, Native Expansion, and A Clash of Kings. Those mods I can highly suggest to those who play said game, but be warned that they can be a wee bit unforgiving at the start.
The story that was to try and follow after this would take place in Calradia after the story's prologue, which would be including stuff that's seen in several mods, including those listed here and others that I have played before. In a sense, quite ambitious, but never lifted off from the ground.
